Bay Section Updates!

Hey Everyone! Hope you've all been preparing well for Bay Section!

Study Sessions:
Make sure you come to at least 1 of the 3 study sessions to take a test/practice performing under similar Bay-section conditions. We will do our very best to emulate the conditions at the real conference, like calculators, quiet testing, proctoring, and for you indvidual oral people, we'll give you feedback based on the actual rubrics that the judges will use.

The study sessions will be Monday 2/20 at the Cupertino Library from as well as Thursday 2/23 and Saturday 2/25 in the Cupertino Library. All of them will be 1-4pm. See you there!

Conference Updates

Hey Competitors! Hope you've all been preparing well for Bay Sections...

Anyhow, Bay Sections is coming up on March 3rd and this week during break, we will be holding mass testing sessions on Monday 2/20(MV Library), Tuesday 2/23(Cupertino Library), and Saturday(Cupertino Library) to help you prepare for Bay. We recommend you attend at least 1 out of the 3 to practice.

The testing sessions are located here. If your name is in yellow, it means that instead of testing two times at the same session, you will be testing in both sessions but you won't be allowed to leave the room between sessions.

Good Luck!

Note: If you've received the email about States deposits, please turn it in by Monday(2/20)'s testing session if you want the early bird discount of $100. Otherwise you will have to pay $120.

Comps Updates

Congratulations to everyone that received a competition! We wish you all the best of luck for the upcoming competitive year, and hope you all work hard to reach Nationals! (And you definitely do not want to miss out on Nationals)

Study sessions will usually be held from 1-4pm on Saturdays at the Monta Vista Library. We'll remind you through email when study sessions are coming up. If you haven't already, try to meet with your team or start studying for your written competition. Best of luck!

Also, if you haven't yet, please turn in your competition money! At this point, if we don't have it in, we're getting worried that you intend to drop your competitions. We'll give you a final notice, but if we don't get it in by early January, we may drop you and replace you with another competitor -- we have many written competitions where we had to turn away members.
