Christopher Chui, President
Hey FBLA, I'm Christopher Chui and I'm really excited to serve as the President of Monta Vista FBLA next year. Really quick info about myself: I'm a pretty casual and easy going guy, I love to play video games with my brother, eating, sleeping, and hanging out with friends on the weekend. You can usually find me at lunch scurrying around school making sure I've finished all me work. If you ever need someone to talk to or play video games with please don't hesitate to ask.
These past couple years in FBLA have really defined my high school experience and I'm so glad to be part of it. In freshmen year, I was sitting in Mr.Schmidt's Principles of Business class listening to presentations from both FBLA and DECA. I was conflicted when deciding which one I should join but I eventually decided on FBLA because they had cooler promo video music (Remember the Name-Fort Minor) and also the FBLA nationals trophies were epically cool. These two superficial reasons turned out to be the two factors that would lead me toward one of the best decisions in my high school experience. FBLA has taught me so much about professionalism and business I have decided to enter the field in college. On top of meeting people in FBLA who have become my best friends, FBLA has been amazing. I really hope that you have a wonderful experience with us this year and that you pursue your dreams wherever they take you.

Crystal Yan, Executive Vice President
HEY MVFBLA!!! I'm Crystal, your EVP! I joined FBLA because my Principles of Business teacher, Mr. Schmidt, encouraged me to get an outside-of-the-classroom experience. I chose FBLA over another business club because one of my friends, Esther (our Director of Activities), told me about all these amazing conferences her sister, Irene (MVFBLA Alum, Class of 09) got to go to and all the great memories she had of hotel hallway pizza parties and meeting people from around the state and nation. Since then, I had the chance to experience each and every one of the experiences FBLA has to offer: meeting hilarious new friends, learning slick resume and interview tips, and competing (and winning!) shiny trophies and scholarship money.
As your Executive Vice President, I manage the alumni association, write super-long reports, and work with the administrative and activity/membership officers to put on great events for you, so if you have any questions or suggestions, email me. Or, find me on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/crystaly or follow me on Twitter http://twitter.com /crystalcy! Email me: crystal.yan@mvfbla.org

Jennifer Chen, Director of Membership
Hey everyone! I’m Jenn, your Director of Membership. I joined FBLA as a freshman after eyeing a flyer about LDI in my art class (oh, the power of good designing skills!) Some of my unforgettable experiences with MVFBLA include being a member of the Parli Pro and PwB Project teams, late-night prank calls and Disney movies (Zac Efron!) at conferences, playing Mafia and Zoo at Nats, being in conference flashback videos one too many times at LDI, karaoke-ing at socials, and most of all, meeting new people like you! I also enjoy playing badminton, watching asian dramas, and singing when no one else is listening (;

Esther Steves, Director of Activities
Hi everyone! My name is Esther and you're cool for actually looking up MVFBLA. We're pretty awesome, right? :) Well, I joined FBLA my freshman year because my sister and all of her friends had been gushing about it for their entire freshman year so I just had to join, of course. And now I love FBLA (duh)! Outside of FBLA, I really like to draw (I'm taking Art 4 this year!), drinking PMT, biking around town and having adventures, chatting on aim with my friends for hours, watching stupid movies, visiting Europe and Asia, and annoying my sister Irene. Oh, and I also like to take jumping pictures with my friends and pictures where I'm "squishing" someone's head. At FBLA conferences, I like to watch Disney channel, ride the elevators, and eat really healthy junk food like ramen and McDonalds! I hope you learn to love FBLA like me, and be sure to wave hello to me if you see me! I'm not scary...most of the time. :)

Richard Yu, Director of Technology
Hey Monta Vista FBLA! I'm Richard, your Director of Tech for 2009-2010! I joined FBLA in my freshman year because I had learned about all the tech competitions FBLA offered, and it was probably the best decision I've made. I've met lots of cool people in this amazing club and had lots of fun experiences at all the conferences (LDI closing video making, GBS, late night Starcraft). Some of my interests are Starcraft, programming, website development, and scifi (Eureka, Stargate, BSG). And generally being an all around nerd.
If you have any questions about the website or just tech in general, feel free to let me know. You can get in touch with me through email (I check it consistently throughout the day).

Sihua Xu, Secretary
Hello. (: I'm Sihua Xu, Secretary for this year. I joined both Monta Vista FBLA and DECA at the beginning of freshman year, but decided on FBLA about halfway through the year, a decision I most certainly do not regret. FBLA has really been the most memorable part of my first year in high school, and its many activities, competitions, and amazing people have really made my year. Other than FBLA, my interests are video games, drawing, playing badminton, and reading (whether it be manga, novels, or RONR). Nice to meet you all, and I hope to have another awesome year with MVFBLA! :>

Ryan Chui, Social Manager
Hey everyone! I'm Ryan Chui, your social manager for 2009-2010. I joined the Monta Vista chapter of FBLA because it seemed like club that could really help improve not only my social etiquette, but also my super bad fear of public speaking. And it did. Joining MVFBLA was probably the best decision that I made during my first year of high school. Not only did I get to meet a large variety of people, but FBLA also gave me some amazing experiences and opportunities, from the projects, to the events, and the uncomparable competitions and conferences.Apart from FBLA, my hobbies are Track and Field, playing video games, listening to music, and hanging out with friends.
As your social manager it is my responsiblity to make sure that your FBLA experiences are those that you will never forget. This club really gets you to bond with other people and everyone becomes a family. If you have any suggestions about fun and exciting events stalk me on Facebook, and chui.ryan.w@gmail.com. Christine Chang, Vice President of Projects
Hey everyone! I'm Christine, this year's VP of Projects! The main reason why I joined FBLA my freshman year was because all my friends were joining, but I don't regret it one bit! As PwB Director my sophomore year, and AE Director last year, FBLA has given me countless memories that I'll never forget. In my free time, I like to hang out with friends, surf the web, and constantly check my e-mail. I'm super excited to be your VP of Projects this year, and encourage all of you guys to be involved in one or more of our wonderful projects --AE, CS, and PwB! Any questions? Don't hesitate to come and ask me! :)

Delia Li, Director of Community Service
Hello friend! My name is Delia. You may be tempted to call me Delilah. That's not my name ( ♪ They call me quiet girl, but I'm a riot...♫ ). I suppose you are reading this blurb because you want to know a bit about me. Creeper.☻.
Well, here you go: I love to FBLA (yes, it is a verb), dedicate mass amounts of time to FBLA projects, meet new people through FBLA, and travel with my FBLA family! Additionally, I enjoy sleeping, eating, watching asian dramas, making up words (Dorkey), watching more asian dramas, blabbing on about my simple drama-less life, listening to asian music, sleeping, fangirl-ing over asian celebs (especially those Koreans!), developing stories of how people's futures will turn out, correcting people's grammar, and typing with parentheses (a lot). I also hang out at 21840 McClellan Rd. pretty much everyday, so you stalkers may find me there. I've always wanted a stalker. (Not really.)
Simply, I can be the coolest or lamest senior you will ever know. So, if you see me around, come say helloooo to me! ♥ Email me: delia.li@mvfbla.org

Priyal Bhatt, Director of American Enterprise
Hey everyone! My name is Priyal, and I am really excited to be your American Enterprise project director this year. I joined FBLA my freshman year because it sounded really fun and their presentation was super cool. In my spare time I like to watch movies, play games, read, and socialize, so come and say "Hi!". I look forward to working with all of you this year!

Hung-Jen Wu, Director of Partnership with Business
Hello! I will be your Partnership with Business Director for this year. Its gonna be an awesome year, so join PwB! I joined FBLA in my freshman year because it provided the two ingredients for my happiness: to talk and compete. Luckily I continued, and it was extremely wise to do so. Some things I like to do outside of FBLA include reading, speaking, and doing archery. Feel free to say hi anytime. Email me: hungjen.wu@mvfbla.org

Hi there! I'm Karen - I love coffee, reading, and writing. I am addicted to Twitter and blogging. I listen to a lot of rock, electro, indie, and Japanese pop music. Michael Yuan, Vice President of Team Competitions
I joined FBLA in freshmen year for no clear reason. I saw both the business class presentations for FBLA and DECA and I joined FBLA on a whim, but it is definitely not a decision I regret. Competitions was a big part of FBLA for me, but it's nowhere near everything this club has to offer. In my spare time I read, paint, draw, watch the news, eat, talk too fast, and sleep (in order of least to greatest priority). If you see me around feel free to talk to me. Email me: michael.yuan@mvfbla.org

Some random things that may interest you: I drink water with the spoon sometimes, bake a lot, write with my left hand, and like to make people laugh :] See you around this year! Angela Gu, Bay Section Secretary
Hey guys! I'm Angela and I will be serving as your Bay Section Secretary for this year. I joined FBLA after some very crazy and excited officers and old members convinced me that it was worth it, and it definitely was! The experience I had the last couple years working on projects, wearing suits :], cramming for competitions, and traveling around the nation for the National Leadership Conference with a bunch of new friends that I made from FBLA was just amazing. During my free time, I love to play badminton and the piano, hang out with friends and family, laugh, watch asian dramas, tell everyone that Joe Cheng is my husband-to-be, and pretend to know how to sing :D I hope to see you guys around and get to know each and every one of you! Eric Wong, Bay Section Parliamentarian
Hi! I'm Eric Wong, your Bay Section Parliamentarian. I joined FBLA as a freshman because I shadowed Chris Chui (who I was taller than!) and he told me to join when I came to MV the next year. Ever since becoming a part of the Parli team (also a Chris Chui recommendation) as a freshman, I haven't looked back! People like Jenn, Panos, Chris, and Ameya have made my experience awesome. Now I'm here to serve as a liason between our chapter and the Bay Section.
Perhaps you have seen me with my little lackey, a penguin stuffed animal, named Benguin. It usually comes with me to FBLA conferences! Besides FBLA, I love playing the piano and listening to music. My favorite genres are quite varied; I like classical, Disney songs, and heavy metal. I also enjoy playing volleyball and going shopping. One can never have enough pairs of shoes!
