Hello Monta Vista FBLA! I am excited and honored to serve as this year's Monta Vista FBLA President. I have had the pleasure of meeting some amazing people these past two years as your manager of chapter activities and manager of individual competitions, and I am certain that this coming year will be just as great. I look forward to all the new opportunities that this year will bring.
I joined FBLA freshmen year because I was hooked by the first member meeting, and I have only gotten more addicted since then. FBLA is simply amazing; be sure to do competitions, get involved in projects, and come to lots of events. I have had the challenging but rewarding experience of competition in Parliamentary Procedures, Emerging Business Issues, and Management Information Systems. I promise that the reward will be worth every bit of time you put in.

Hey! I'm Ryan Chui and I'm going to be your Executive Vice-President of Operations for the 2011-2012 school year. First off if you're on the fence about joining FBLA, my advice to you is to join immediately. FBLA as a freshman was one of the best decisions that I made. The absolutely unforgettable memories from your competitions, conferences, and socials will stay with you forever and there is nothing at Monta Vista that has impacted me more than FBLA has.
As the Executive Vice-President of Operations I have the duty of make sure that the Monta Vista chapter of FBLA is running smoothly. Whether it be coordinating communication between departments, helping plan events, or keeping people on task; my job foresee and solve problems as and before they arise. However, overall my most important job is to give you, the MVFBLA member, your best experience of your time in high school.
But apart from FBLA, as a Senior Class Officer I am heavily involved in school activities such as float building, poster making, and rally set up. I am also an athlete on the hurdle, sprint, and mile relay teams for Track and Field. Over the past three years I have gained an undying passion for FBLA, and hopefully I can get you to get as much out of FBLA as I have.

Hi! I am Mallika Kapur and I am honored to say that I am your new Secretary-Treasurer. I am so glad I joined FBLA, it has been so much fun, from working with my team to the amazing conferences.
I joined FBLA my freshmen year and it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Last year I competed in Parliamentary Procedure. All that studying done for this one competition paid off when my team and I went to the conferences. One of the best parts about competing with a team is that you become very close and share many interesting experiences together.
Apart from FBLA, I love to watch movies, walk around the neighborhood with friends, and sometimes just lay on the couch and do nothing. I can not wait to have an amazing year with all of you and I hope you love FBLA as much as I do.

Hello! I'm Emily Wong, currently a Junior at Monta Vista High and Director of Membership for the officer team of 2011- 2012. Last year, I was Community Service Chairman along with my partner Angela Wang, and I have served on the Parliamentary Procedures team for the past two years. My awards for 2010 for Parliamentary Procedures include 2nd at Bay Section Leadership Conference, 2nd at the State level, 2nd at Introduction to Parliamentary Procedure at the State level, and 4th at the National level. For the year 2011, so far I have been honored 2nd place at the Bay and State level for Parliamentary Procedure as well. In my spare time I enjoy catching up on my favorite TV shows, hanging out with friends, and eating. Anyone who knows me will agree that I am outgoing to say the least, and as bubbly as can be. In fact, my goal this year is to meet as many new members as possible! (:

Ah hey! My name is Larry Xu and I am this year's Director of Technology. I am currently a junior and this is my third year of participating in FBLA. It has been such an amazing experience attending all of the LDI, Bay, States, and especially Nationals conferences.
My job is to assist the officer team with anything and everything tech-related. This includes maintaining this very website, assisting our numerous technology competitors, and working with the Tech Committee in ensuring our chapter's technological excellence.
My greatest achievement in FBLA was definitely when I placed first at Nationals during my freshman year, and I want all of you newer members to have the same experience. When I am not being a boss at FBLA, I enjoy staying up late and playing video games. The best part of conferences is pulling off all-nighters playing Xbox. Anyways, I hope you all join and have a chance to do the same!

Hey guys! My name's Laura and I look forward to seeing you guys in FBLA, whether it's at a conference, study session, or even a project event! I joined FBLA in freshman year after hearing about it during Club Day and it's been a ton of fun ever since. The wonderful feeling of completing a project, having teammates in a competition, and getting on stage to accept your award ( first place? ;D) can only be experienced through FBLA. I have had a great time being a part of projects and I urge each and every one of you to join one this year!
I've competed in Business Financial Plan, Management Decision Making, American Enterprise Project and Community Service Project, and although they take a lot of time and effort, I assure you that the rewards are great! From frantically memorizing acts to finalizing a 30-page report in a week, I must say, I have certainly learned a lot, whether it be business or time management.
When I feel like relaxing, I like to watch comedians on Youtube, Gchat with my friends, and watch Disney movies. I'm not scary at all so feel free to ask me any questions about projects or even FBLA in general. See you around!

Hey MVFBLA! My name is Keshav Santhanam and I am your Partnership with Business Director. I am really looking forward to giving FBLA members an exciting PwB project this year.
My FBLA experience began in eighth grade at Kennedy Middle School. The information I absorbed from the MVFBLA officers during that year inspired me to become an active FBLA member in high school. I was part of the PwB project in both my freshman and sophomore years, and I loved every part of it. I learned about business plans, patenting, social enterprises, and much, much more in my work. Along the way I befriended many of my fellow FBLA members, and I hope this continues throughout my FBLA career. My competitive profile in MVFBLA is not as amazing as those of my fellow officers, but I truly enjoyed the Bay and State conferences I have attended. I competed in Intro to Business and Intro to Tech Concepts in the past and this year I am going to participate in a team competition.
Outside of FBLA, I debate in the Lincoln-Douglas style and do community service as a member of CSF. I am a big basketball fan and a self-proclaimed NBA junkie. If you ever want to play a pickup game (or join PwB), I'll be ready!

Hey everyone! For those of you who don't know, my name is Nikhil Mallipeddi, and I will be overseeing the Community Service Project as well as Public Relations for MVFBLA this year.
This will be my third year in FBLA, and I have loved the experience so far. Feel free to talk to me about anything FBLA, or even help me convince you to join! It really is a great experience, and not to sound cheezy, but this is definetely something that changed my highschool life so far.
Some other random facts about me for all of the stalkers: I like playing sports with my friends, or otherwise just hanging out anywhere.
But yea, feel free to hit me up whenever. I'm happy to talk even if its for a moment in the hallway, and have fun in FBLA this year! Whether it be the new people you meet, or the great times you will have at conferences, this is something you will not want to miss.

Hello Monta Vista FBLA! I'm Yanbing, your American Enterprise Project Chair for the 2011-2012 school year. I joined MVFBLA on a whim two years ago at the incessant urging of my Link leader, Christine Chang - or perhaps it was the pearl milk tea or lucky oranges that did me in. Whatever the reason then, the late-night cram sessions, hysterics at Panera, and the amazing people here are the reasons I stayed. The pillow fights at States and all the impromptu fun combined with the academic motivation and drive of competitive events has given me a remarkable experience not capable of being emulated elsewhere. I can now only hope to give to you what MVFBLA has given to me.(:
I've competed as a lead of the American Enterprise Project as well as in Emerging Business Issues and Introduction to Business Communications. Apart from FBLA, I enjoy playing Rachmaninoff, being a bibliophile, snorkeling, and doing anything that keeps me from twiddling my thumbs. I'm all ears for questions and wish you all the best in the upcoming school year. Welcome to the family and I look forward to making some of our fondest memories with you!

Hey everyone! My name is Barak, and I'm super excited to be your VP of Competitions! My FBLA journey started when I was a freshman, when I chose to join the club because of its energetic, passionate officers. I soon became part of the FBLA family. In chronological order, I've competed in Economics, Business Ethics, Personal Finance, and Entrepreneurship (so far) and I've had a great time at FBLA activities, from Comps Open House to our tour of the Googleplex.
Besides FBLA, I enjoy playing the saxophone, listening to music (I love artists as varied as Black Eyed Peas and The Beatles), traveling (especially to relaxing, warm places like Hawaii and Palm Springs), and, most of all, surfing the internet. I gush over tech news, and follow news in general both online and through the newspaper and TIME magazine (yes, printed news still exists). I also love plenty of nerdy sites like Wikipedia, xkcd, and reddit.
Feel free to talk to me about FBLA, complain about your competition, or ramble about anything else. I look forward to working with you this year!

Hi guys! I am Srisruthi Ramesh and I will be your Manager of Individual Competitions for the 2011-2012 school year. I'm super excited to be a part of the Competitions team and for another FBLA-mazing year. I've grown up with this organization since my family for the past like 8 years has pretty much been FBLA-crazy. You can identify us by the fact that all our names start with "Sri" (i.e. Srini, Manager of Team Comps and my cousin lol)
FBLA has seriously been a huge part of my high school experience--its one thing I could never give up. Lemme just say that the feeling of being up on stage is totally unsurpassed and indescribable. But I've also learned that win or lose, your FBLA family is really always there for you.
Aside from FBLA, I am officer of MV Interact as well as a member of the Leadership class. In my free time I enjoy baking, writing, Facebook stalking, chatting, and telling long (some would say pointless but I would not!) stories. Feel free to talk to me, comps related or otherwise! I'm pretty much religiously on Gmail or Facebook so you can find me there, but don't hesitate to come and talk to me in person either! See you around (at the Study Sessions! Hehe :))

Hey guys! My name's Srinivasan but most people call me Srini and its my honor and pleasure to be your Manager of Team Comps along with my bud Patrick Xie! As Team Comps manager I'll be looking to help out all of our competitors in all the wonderful competitions that FBLA has to offer and look to make your comps experience the best experience ever!
I've been in FBLA ever since my freshman year and I never regretted joining this because it changed my life! A lot of my friends did DECA, but I had a feeling that FBLA was something more than just being another member. In FBLA I was a part of something bigger and everyone in the organization is so cool! These past 3 years in FBLA were the best years of my life and I can honestly say that FBLA is wayyy cooler than anything else on campus! I look forward to conferences every year and they are the best part of FBLA by far. I've competed in E-Business, Web Site Development (now Design) and Business Plan and have had the luck to go to Nationals for all three events! Don't hestitate to ask me how FBLA has been the best thing about high school for me or if you want to just chat!
Outside of FBLA I love to sleep and play basketball. Other than that you can usually find me hanging out in the rally court or just walking around campus so don't be shy and just come up and talk to me! I hope you guys have an FBLAmazing year and can't wait to meet all of you! P.S. You guys are all hella buff!

Hello! I'm Patrick and I will be serving as your Manager of Team Competitions this year. I am currently a junior and I joined FBLA with the help of my brother and a bunch of my other friends, a decision that I definitely do not regret. FBLA has definitely gave me some of the best experiences of my high school career, either by going to a rainy Nashville when it is over 90 degrees outside or just stressing out with my teammates over our competition. All of my experiences in FBLA have been such great ones and this year is sure to bring more of them.
Team competitions have definitely been the highlight of FBLA for me, whether it was almost breaking a curse with Business Presentation, rehearsing a speech more than hundred times for EBI, or just stressing out with my Business Financial Plan team and somehow getting first, all of the team competition experiences have been amazing.
Aside from FBLA, I am also a CSF Project LIT Chair and I am that Sports Editor of the El Estoque. Some of the stuff I like to do is watching Netflix, play settlers (best board game ever) with my friends, not doing school work, and talking with my friends. Anyway, FBLA has made my high school experience amazing and I am very excited for another amazing year in FBLA.

Hey everybody!
My name is Nikitas Kanellakopoulos and I am the resident co-badass with Larry Xu. I am an ex-officio officer because I am the State Secretary-Treasurer (see: badass). I have a humungodungo passion for FBLA, it is WHAT I LIVE FOR. I love everything about it, the conferences, the competitions, but most importantly the PEOPLE. People are cool. Anyway, that's enough about me, go read all the other profiles! (especially Larry Xu's)

Hello MVFBLA, my name is Minolee Vora and I am currently the State Vice President / Bay Section President. I am going to be a junior next year and I am super excited for this eventful/super busy year ahead of us. I have been in FBLA for less than 2 years now and it has already consumed my life. This organization has impacted every aspect of my life. It turned a new, shy and self- conscious little freshman, into a successful, confident, and outgoing yet spazzy, business leader. If there is one thing that I can say about FBLA, I would say, " FBLA is the most real-world business organization you can be involved in". Just the atmosphere of meeting ambitious successful and self - motivated high school students shapes what you want to make of your life, and it ripens you.
Other then my obsession for FBLA, i'm a pretty spazzy and fun person! =) I have been doing gymnastics and Tae kwon do, for about 6 years now and love them like crazy. I also love to play volleyball, and snowboard and pulling a good prank once in a while. =) When i'm not active and crazy I either listen to music ( 94.9, 99.7, or INDIAN MUSIC!) or chat with my buddies on Facebook!! I am extremely prideful of being Gujju, which is a "type" of indian person. Along with being adventurous I grab every opportunity I get ( especially in FBLA) because, HEY, you'll never know where it might take you!!

Hi everyone! I'm Sihua and I'll be your Bay Section Vice President for the 2011-2012 school year. I'll be a senior this year, and I've been in FBLA for four years now, and loved every moment. I hope that this year, I'll be able to share this with all of you as well.
In FBLA, I have participated in the competitions for Parliamentary Procedure and Management Information Systems, and held the officer positions of Secretary and Manager of Design. If you're ever curious about any of these (or anything at all), feel free to ask me! I'll definitely be glad to share any of my experiences with you.
I also participate in Yearbook and Badminton outside of FBLA, and draw, write, or work on math and physics in my free time. I hope I can get to know members' both inside and outside of FBLA. Hope to see everyone for a great year with MVFBLA!
